flydubai will resume flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Skopje International Airport from 1 April 2027, with three weekly services operating on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, all departing from Terminal 3.
The route had previously been part of the carrier’s network. Its return brings both Business Class and Economy Class service to the market and positions Skopje as a transit point for passengers connecting onward through Dubai.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai, framed the resumption as part of the airline’s broader connectivity mandate. “Over the years, we have connected many cities that previously had limited direct links to Dubai and the wider world. The return of Skopje reflects that continued commitment,” he said.
Jeyhun Efendi, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, pointed to the route’s appeal across multiple traveller segments. “The resumption of flights to Skopje gives our customers greater choice and flexibility, while providing an attractive one-stop travel option for leisure travellers, business travellers and the Macedonian diaspora from Australia and Asia,” he said.
Under the existing codeshare arrangement with Emirates, passengers travelling via Dubai will have access to both carriers’ combined networks through a single booking with through-checked baggage. From Skopje, onward connections include Australian cities, Asian gateways such as Shanghai and Singapore, and flydubai destinations including Bangkok, Colombo and Zanzibar.
Fares on the route start from EUR 580 for Economy Class Lite and EUR 3,000 for Business Class return from Skopje. From Dubai, Economy Class Lite fares start from AED 2,800 and Business Class from AED 12,500 return.
Skopje is the latest addition following recent launches to Bangkok, Benghazi and Pokhara, bringing the flydubai network to more than 120 destinations across 57 countries.
