Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has announced a month-long programme of National Month celebrations running from November 3 to December 2, 2026, marking the UAE’s 55th Eid Al Etihad.

The initiative was launched by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

It brings together government, semi-government and private sector organisations under a coordinated programme designed to reflect the significance of the UAE’s national occasions and encourage broad community participation.

“We are working closely with our partners across government, semi-government and private sector entities to organise celebrations that reflect the significance of the UAE’s national occasions and offer everyone an opportunity to express their love for the nation and pride in its journey. Our efforts focus on delivering a diverse and coordinated programme of events and activities,” Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai said in a statement.

“Key initiatives include the UAE Flag Day celebrations, ‘Eid Al Etihad’ festivities, Flag Garden, ‘UAE Parade’, and the ‘Stories of Our Determination’ short film competition. Launched by the Dubai Films and Games Commission, an entity under the Dubai Media Council, the competition encourages creative talent to share stories of unity and determination. Additional events and activities organised in collaboration with government, semi-government and private sector entities will be announced in due course,” Al Suwaidi added.

Confirmed initiatives include UAE Flag Day celebrations, Eid Al Etihad festivities, a Flag Garden, the UAE Parade, and the “Stories of Our Determination” short film competition. The competition, launched by the Dubai Films and Games Commission under the Dubai Media Council, invites creative talent to submit work on themes of unity and determination.

Al Suwaidi said additional events organised with partner entities would be announced progressively. Dates and locations for individual activities will be released as the programme develops.

Brand Dubai will run its own events while coordinating with participating organisations to ensure complementary scheduling across the emirate. The month honours the legacy of the UAE’s Founding Fathers and, in Al Suwaidi’s framing, provides citizens, residents and visitors with space to participate in national celebrations.
