Montenegro will allow eligible foreign nationals residing in the UAE to enter the country without a visa during the 2026 summer season, the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.
The exemption applies to holders of foreign passports who have maintained valid UAE residency for at least three consecutive years. To qualify, travellers must arrive on a direct flight, carry a passport valid for the duration of their stay, and present confirmation of a booked tour package. The scheme runs from 1 May to 1 October 2026, with a maximum stay of 10 days.
The arrangement adds Montenegro to a list of destinations that have introduced simplified entry for UAE-based travellers. Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan each operate their own entry frameworks for UAE residents, with eligibility and conditions varying by nationality and destination.
