Netflix has delayed the premiere of its new reality series, "Desi Bling," which spotlights affluent Indians in Dubai. The decision stems from the ongoing regional conflict, with the company deeming it an inappropriate time to air content about the ultra-rich. The show's launch, initially slated for this month, is now postponed with potential releases in May or June.

Netflix is postponing the much-hyped new reality show “Desi Bling” due to the on-going regional conflict.

Sources told Lana that the show – which focuses on the lives of super rich Indians living in Dubai – was due to launch this month, but has  been moved by at least a month.

“It isn’t the right time to be showing how the ultra-rich Indians live in Dubai especially when the current war is still going on. Hopefully next month or June we can bring it out, but we just have to wait and see,” a source says.

The first teaser for the show was released in February, with property tycoons Rizwan Sajan and Satish Sanpal taking centre stage. Also featured in Decisive Zone founder Dyuti Parruck, while television stars Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash feature prominently. The full cast includes

Tabinda Sanpal, Adel Sajan, Sana Sajan, Pamala Serena, Iryna Kinakh, Alizey Mirza, Lailli Mirza and Janvee Gaur.

Desi Bling is produced by Different Productions, the company also behind the Dubai Bling shows.
