Bahrain says it intercepted new Iranian strikes on Wednesday
Bahrain’s Defence Force said Iran is continuing a systematic pattern of hostility through attacks targeting civilians in the kingdom.
It said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian strikes on Wednesday morning, July 15, and affirmed that all its forces remain at the highest level of readiness to defend the country.
The Defence Force urged the public to remain cautious and avoid approaching any strange or suspicious debris from the attack, reporting it immediately, and said the Royal Field Engineering Unit is fully ready to safely handle such material to ensure public safety.
It reiterated that deliberately using missiles and drones to target civilians and private property is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and expressed pride in its forces’ readiness and vigilance in performing their national duty.

Iran: US strike kills three family members of environmental ranger
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said recent US actions against Iran amount to war crimes, arguing that each new incident strengthens Iranians’ resolve to pursue justice and hold those responsible accountable.
In a post on X, he referred to US military action on Tuesday in several Iranian areas, including Hormuzgan Province, saying Washington’s “record of crimes against Iran grows daily” and reflects its ongoing hostility toward the country.
He said US forces targeted an environmental protection post in the village of Seyyed Jowzar, Hajjiabad, killing three family members of environmental ranger Javad Hassanzadeh. Baqaei described the incident as the latest in a string of what he called heinous US war crimes over the past four and a half months, tracing the campaign back to the assassinations of leaders and civilians, including children and women, in Tehran, Minab, Lamerd and other areas on February 28, 2026.
