The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA) and the Ministry of Education have announced that school bus operations will resume across the UAE from Monday, April 20, 2026, covering all public and private schools in the country.
The statement referenced “the country’s continuous assessment approach during this period.”

The UAE Ministry of Education stated that the resumption of bus services was intended to ensure “the continuity of the educational process, student safety, and the efficiency of services provided.”
Relevant authorities confirmed they “will continue to monitor and assess the situation on a regular basis and take the necessary measures in line with any developments,” adding that they would maintain “the highest levels of readiness and stability.”
In a message directed at the public, relevant authorities urged residents “to remain vigilant and follow official instructions at all times,” as well as to seek information exclusively from official sources.
