A cohort of educators from Dubai’s private early childhood centres, schools, and higher education institutions have been granted Golden Visas under an initiative directed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council.

The announcement was timed to coincide with World Teachers’ Day and sits within Dubai’s Education 33 strategy, which is designed to attract and retain educators who can strengthen the emirate’s standing as a regional and international education hub.

Since the programme launched on October 5, 2024, more than 835 educators have submitted applications. Selection is made through a professional assessment process that weighs academic qualifications, achievements in the sector, community contributions, and feedback from parents and students.

To be eligible, educators must work in private institutions and demonstrate outstanding academic or creative contributions, a record of improving educational quality, recognition within the education community, and measurable impact on student outcomes including academic progress and the attainment of accredited qualifications.

Full eligibility criteria and application details are available on the KHDA website.
