The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) has allocated AED150 million to support UAE-based charitable and humanitarian organisations, with the funding announced during a signing ceremony of 11 partnership agreements held in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).

The agreements were signed with a range of charities and public bodies, including Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE’s relief programme for Palestinians in Gaza launched in 2023; Al Jalila Foundation; Emirates Health Services; the UAE Food Bank; Beit Al Khair Society; Dar Al Ber Society; Noor Dubai; the Digital School; Tarahum Charity Foundation; the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Establishment; and Fujairah Charity Association. His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and MBRGI Secretary General, was also present at the signing.

Sheikh Hamdan said the allocation reflects MBRGI’s ongoing commitment to the UAE’s humanitarian mission. “Guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, MBRGI continues to provide all the necessary means to advance charitable and humanitarian work in the UAE,” he said, adding that the funding builds on the foundation’s role in the country’s humanitarian landscape since its establishment in 2015.

MBRGI, which consolidates more than 30 initiatives under five pillars covering humanitarian aid, healthcare, education, innovation, and community empowerment, committed over AED2.3 billion in 2025, reaching approximately 165 million people across 122 countries.
