Paid parking has gone live in three sectors of Al Ain, with Q Mobility activating 1,455 spaces across Al Mu’tarid and Central District from Monday, 26 October 2026.
The rollout is being run under the regulatory supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre, known as Abu Dhabi Mobility, which sits within the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The phased approach is designed to manage growing demand for public parking driven by population growth and the expansion of commercial activity in the city.
The 1,455 spaces include designated bays for People of Determination. Standard rates are set at AED 2 per hour, payable through the Darb and TAMM apps.
Q Mobility said the move is aimed at improving parking efficiency and easing access to businesses, services, and facilities for residents, visitors and workers. The operator urged motorists to observe approved signage, use spaces for their intended purposes, and pay applicable fees in line with regulations.
