Joyalukkas has opened what it describes as the largest jewellery showroom in the Middle East, a 25,000 square foot destination at Dubai Gold District called Jewel of Joy. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade, alongside officials from the Indian consulate, Ithra Dubai, and Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.
The showroom is conceived as an experience centre rather than a conventional retail floor, housing collections spanning gold, bridal jewellery, diamonds and rare gemstones. It sits within the brand’s network of over 200 showrooms across 13 countries, but the company says the Dubai location is the only one of its kind in the portfolio.
The centrepiece is The Royal Bangle Walk, a monumental bangle structure through which visitors can pass. The space also includes an exclusive designer studio, a VIP lounge, a children’s zone and dedicated maintenance services.
“Jewel of Joy is more than a showroom. It is our tribute to a city that has given us so much, and our promise to customers that we will always strive to give them more. For nearly 40 years, we have grown alongside the UAE, and this destination reflects the scale, craftsmanship and warmth that define both Joyalukkas and Dubai. From The Royal Bangle Walk to our most extensive collection to date, every detail has been designed to make our customers feel truly special. This is our way of saying that the best is yet to come,” Dr. Joy Alukkas, Chairman of Joyalukkas Group said in a statement.
“Our mission is to constantly meet their expectations and enhance their jewellery shopping experience. This showroom will be an experience like never before. Its has everything a jewellery lover would like to experience and more. I invite all UAE residents and tourists to visit and experience the magnificent destination we have created for them,” John Paul Alukkas, CEO of Joyalukkas Jewellery added.
Joyalukkas, which counts more than 10 million customers globally, has operated in the UAE for close to four decades. The new opening marks its most substantial physical investment in the market to date.
