Q Mobility, the principal public parking operator in Abu Dhabi, and Parkin Company PJSC, its Dubai counterpart, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to coordinate on smart parking technology and link the two emirates’ parking infrastructure.
The agreement covers a joint roadmap for pilot projects using AI, data analytics and advanced digital tools to manage occupancy, forecast demand and improve operational efficiency. The two companies also plan to integrate their platforms so that residents and visitors can access parking services and make payments through a single digital channel spanning both cities.
Additional workstreams include data-sharing arrangements governed by applicable legislation, joint governance improvements and assessments of infrastructure sustainability.
