Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia has postponed Beautyworld Riyadh, the beauty trade event in the Kingdom, from its scheduled dates of May 18–20, 2026 to 2027.
The organisers said the decision followed developments in the region and an assessment of their implications. The rescheduling, they said, was intended to maintain the event’s scale, participation levels and commercial value, while placing the safety, wellbeing and trust of exhibitors, sponsors, partners and staff first.
Messe Frankfurt delays Beautyworld Riyadh 2026 over regional developments
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia said it remained committed to the growth of its events portfolio in the country. The organisation said it would continue to build conditions for an event where industry figures can connect, access market opportunities, build business networks, source products and exchange knowledge.
Beautyworld Riyadh, it added, continues to support the expansion of Saudi Arabia’s beauty industry in line with Vision 2030.
“This decision follows extensive consultation with our stakeholders across the market and a careful assessment of the current operating environment. Our priority is to ensure we bring the industry together in a way that ensures meaningful engagement, strong business outcomes, and a high-calibre event experience for our exhibitors, partners, speakers, and wider community,” Teresa Heitor, Portfolio Director of Consumer Goods at Messe Frankfurt Middle East said in a statement.
“This was a measured decision, and we are confident it is the right step to protect the positioning and long-term value of the event, while prioritising all stakeholders who have long supported our platform,” Flyn Roberts, Chief Commercial Officer, MFME added.
The organisers said dates for the 2027 edition would be released in due course. Further details are available on the Beautyworld Riyadh website.
