Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have shared details of their visits to Abu Dhabi, describing the emirate as a destination for families seeking activities that cater to different age groups.

The couple’s itinerary included CLYMB Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, where they participated in indoor climbing and skydiving. The facility offers routes for different ages and experience levels, from beginner to advanced climbing walls and skydiving chamber sessions.
At Surf Abu Dhabi on Hudayriyat Island, surfing in controlled wave conditions is possible. The facility provides sessions tailored to different abilities and caters to first-time surfers across age groups, with food and drink options available on site.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi featured on their visit, with its indoor rides and attractions designed for different age groups. The park allows families to alternate between high-energy experiences and rides suitable for children.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi offers themed lands based on characters including Batman, Scooby Doo and The Flintstones. The park provides rides and interactive experiences for all ages.
Chris Hemsworth visits teamLab Phenomena and Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi
teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, where digital art installations respond to movement, provided an interactive environment. The space encourages exploration through its installations.
Yas Waterworld, which draws inspiration from Emirati pearl-diving heritage, offers more than 60 attractions including slides, wave pools and rides designed for different age groups.
Beyond the Hemsworth family’s itinerary, families visiting Abu Dhabi can visit Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum. Al Ain Region, located 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi City or Dubai, offers culture, nature and heritage attractions for families.
