Madbridge Commercial Investment and Animotion Media Group announced a partnership today to establish an entertainment hub in Abu Dhabi.
The collaboration brings together the Emirati investment company and the global studio behind children’s series including The Fixies, Tina & Tony, Finnick, and BabyRiki.
The project will be headquartered at the Creative Hub in Abu Dhabi. The partnership aims to create content for audiences across the Middle East and North Africa region while pursuing distribution to global markets.
Children’s content producer Animotion establishes regional hub in Abu Dhabi
The venture will build an entertainment ecosystem that includes animation, live-action series, digital channels, and distribution platforms for the region.
Animotion is preparing to launch live-action series that target children and teenagers, expanding beyond its portfolio of animation brands.
The studio’s programmes include The Fixies, Tina & Tony, Finnick, and BabyRiki, which have gained audiences in multiple territories.

Abu Dhabi offers the ideal environment to develop world-class entertainment content for both regional and international audiences,” Mohammed Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of Madbridge Commercial Investment said in a statement.
“Together with Madbridge, we are building a regional creative hub capable of developing content that speaks to MENA audiences and reaches global viewers,” Julia Nikolaeva, General Manager of Animotion Media Group added.
The partnership aligns with Abu Dhabi’s strategy to develop its creative economy and family entertainment sector.
Madbridge’s investment focuses on sectors that combine economic growth with cultural value, whilst Animotion seeks to expand its presence in the MENA region through the partnership.
The hub will operate as a production facility capable of delivering content that meets production standards for both regional and international distribution.
