Saudi Ministry of Defence Spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Malki announced that 18 drones had been intercepted and destroyed within the past few hours, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
UAE Presidential Advisor Dr. Anwar Gargash said the UAE’s stance toward what he described as “treacherous Iranian aggression” enjoys widespread appreciation across the Gulf, adding that the region is facing “a perfidious regime that cannot be trusted” which has attacked its neighbours despite their efforts to avoid the conflict.
Gargash said that in this moment, stances are measured “by their sincerity and clarity, and by the defense of our homelands, our peoples, and our achievements.”
US President Donald Trump warned at a press conference on Monday that Iran could be “taken out in one night,” adding that “that night might be tomorrow night” as his Tuesday evening deadline for Tehran to make a deal or reopen the Strait of Hormuz approached.
Trump has repeatedly threatened to strike Iranian power plants, bridges, and other infrastructure if Iran fails to reach an agreement or reopen the strait, setting a deadline of Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET over the weekend.
The Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, visited individuals affected by current regional events receiving care at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, meeting with patients and their families and receiving briefings from medical teams on case progress and treatment plans.
Al Mansoori affirmed that Abu Dhabi’s healthcare system continues to operate with high efficiency, supported by an integrated infrastructure enabling real-time coordination and continuity of care under all conditions.
He highlighted the central role of the Unified Medical Operations Command Centre in coordinating efforts and enabling rapid response across the healthcare ecosystem.
“The safety, wellbeing and care of our community is always our priority,” Al Mansoori said, adding that Abu Dhabi’s health system “remains fully operational, designed for resilience and working seamlessly across all entities to maintain continuity of services.”

The United Nations renewed its call for all parties to the Middle East conflict to comply with international humanitarian law, emphasising that civilian infrastructure must not be targeted. UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said Secretary-General António Guterres reminds all actors that energy facilities and other civilian infrastructure must be protected, and that even if specific infrastructure could be considered a military objective, international humanitarian law prohibits attacks if they result in excessive incidental civilian harm.
In a separate development, the UN announced it is continuing discussions on forming a new task force to ensure the safe passage of humanitarian shipments, including fertilisers and other essential materials, through the Strait of Hormuz.
The UN also announced that Jean Arnault, the Personal Envoy of the Secretary-General for the Middle East Conflict, will travel to the region, with further details on his itinerary expected in the coming days.
Bahrain’s Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of several individuals arrested on charges of espionage for Iranian intelligence agencies and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the Bahrain News Agency.
The Head of the Terror Crimes Prosecution said the suspects were tasked with monitoring vital sites in Bahrain, collecting information for future targeting, and documenting the results of Iranian attacks by photographing damage and destruction caused by acts of aggression against the kingdom.
The Public Prosecution has launched an investigation, interrogated the suspects, and ordered their pretrial detention pending further inquiries.
Kuwait’s Armed Forces intercepted 14 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 46 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours, according to Ministry of Defence Spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan at the daily media briefing.
Falling debris landed in a residential area in the north of the country, resulting in injuries, with relevant authorities responding in line with approved procedures.
