The decision was taken after a comprehensive assessment of operational and security conditions, in coordination with relevant authorities, with continuous real-time monitoring remaining in place.
The resumption follows an earlier temporary and partial closure of UAE airspace that had been implemented as an exceptional precautionary measure to ensure the safety of flights and crew amid rapidly evolving regional security developments.
The GCAA urged the public to continue obtaining information from official sources and thanked passengers and airlines for their cooperation throughout the disruption.
