NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta opened this month, marking the completion of a phased renovation of the former Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai. The 396-room property, located beside Ibn Battuta Mall in the city’s west, has been repositioned under Minor Hotels’ NH Collection brand alongside refreshed interiors, new dining venues and retained leisure facilities.

Room categories range from Collection and Superior rooms through to Terrace Pool Suites with private outdoor spaces and temperature-controlled pools. Club Rooms and suites include Executive Lounge access, and select two-bedroom configurations cater to families and longer stays.
The food and beverage lineup has been expanded. Benihana brings its Japanese teppanyaki format to the property, with live tableside cooking.
Two new concepts join the roster: Taste, an all-day dining restaurant drawing on global culinary traditions, and Nomad, a speciality coffee café designed for working or socialising. Existing outlets including McGettigan’s, Skyline Pool Bar and Tex-Mex venue Rodeo Drive remain in place.
Leisure facilities include a rooftop pool, fitness centre, spa, beauty salon and Kids Club. On the corporate side, the hotel offers 871 square metres of meeting space alongside flexible breakout rooms for conferences, private events and MICE bookings.
The hotel is NH Collection’s second operational property in the UAE, joining NH Collection Dubai The Palm. The company says further openings in Ras Al Khaimah are planned.
