His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, affirmed that Gulf countries cannot remain a target of Iran’s hesitation between escalation and the path of peace.
His Excellency said: “The Iranian attacks on Qatari and Saudi commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, and the repeated aggression against our brothers in Bahrain and Kuwait, are a clear indication that Tehran remains unable to commit to the requirements of de-escalation and turning the page on war.”
In a post published on his official account on the platform “X”, His Excellency stated: “The Iranian attacks on Qatari and Saudi commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, and the repeated aggression against our brothers in Bahrain and Kuwait, are a clear indication that Tehran remains unable to commit to the requirements of de-escalation and turning the page on war.”
His Excellency concluded: “The Arab Gulf states cannot remain a target of Iran’s hesitation between the logic of escalation and the path of rationality, stability, and peace.”
