Careem delivered more than 1.6 million burgers this year, averaging 4,400 burgers daily, according to its newly released 2025 trends report.
The report showed that one customer placed 1,250 food orders throughout 2025, equating to more than three orders per day. Careem’s 2025 trends report also revealed the company’s expansion into Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Sharjah, alongside new service launches and partnerships across its platform.

Careem reports 120% matcha order surge and AED 19,800 Dubai chocolate purchase
Careem Food delivered orders in under three minutes in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, marking the fastest delivery times for the service. The platform recorded a 120 per cent increase in matcha orders compared to 2024.
The platform’s largest single food order reached over AED1,600, consisting of 15 Legendary Brisket Feasts from Mattar Farm. Breakfast claimed the title of most popular cuisine, with peak ordering time between 7pm and 8pm.
Careem Food added several restaurant partners in 2025, including the launch of Al Beiruti, Five Guys, Taqado, Little Caesars Pizza, Mandi Man, and Bread Ahead. The company hosted the Careem Awards, its first event celebrating restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Careem delivers groceries in 70 seconds as bananas remain most-ordered item
Careem Quik became the home of Fix Dessert Chocolatiere, known for producing Dubai chocolate. The largest Fix chocolate order totalled AED19,800 for 50 boxes of the product.
The platform delivered groceries in 70 seconds in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, marking its fastest grocery delivery time. Careem partnered directly with UAE farms to deliver produce within 24 hours of harvest.
Bananas remained the most-ordered item for the third consecutive year for both men and women. The largest single grocery order reached AED4,600, whilst one customer placed 41 separate orders in a single day.
One Labubu collector ordered 10 items for AED2,400. Sunday remained the busiest shopping day, with peak demand between 7pm and 8pm.
Careem Pay completes money transfer to India in seven seconds
Careem Pay completed a money transfer to India in seven seconds, setting a record for the service. Nearly 20 per cent of all transfers were completed in under 60 seconds.
One customer made over 480 transfers to India throughout the year, whilst another transferred $620,000 to Pakistan in 2025. The service expanded its remittance offering to more than 35 countries.
October marked the busiest month for remittances, with 11am identified as the most popular time to send money abroad.
Careem Plus members saved an average of AED375 per month, representing a 25 per cent increase from 2024. The most active member saved over AED18,200 during the year.
Members used Careem Food, Careem Quik, and Careem Rides most frequently. One customer maintained their membership for five consecutive years.
Kitchen6 was the most frequently booked restaurant through Careem DineOut. The largest single dining bill reached AED 41,600 at Jun’s, with the customer saving AED 4,200 through the platform.
One customer made 330 separate restaurant bookings for personal dining throughout 2025.
Careem Plus members save AED375 monthly as UAE rides cover 160 million kilometres
Rides across the UAE covered more than 160 million kilometres, equivalent to travelling from Earth to the Moon and back over 200 times. Items forgotten in rides included two carpet rolls and a guitar, with phones, AirPods, and wallets identified as the most commonly forgotten items.
Careem Bike riders completed 1.8 million trips, covering more than 7.8 million kilometres and displacing 1,200 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Riders burned 172 million calories collectively in 2025.
The most committed cyclist completed 2,090 trips throughout the year, averaging five trips daily. Peak riding time remained between 5pm and 6pm, with January 11 recording the highest daily total at 11,000 trips.
Around AED2.2 million was donated to causes through Careem’s in-app donations service in the UAE, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The largest single donations in the UAE reached AED10,000 to both Dubai Cares and the World Food Programme for Gaza.
Careem partners with MAJRA to support 60,000 delivery captains during summer
Careem partnered with MAJRA National CSR Fund to support more than 60,000 delivery captains during summer months across all platforms.
Captain Balwant Singh completed the most deliveries in 2025, whilst captain Muzammil Hussain continued as one of Careem’s longest-serving delivery captains.
The largest single tip reached AED300 in Dubai. One customer tipped on 590 out of 680 orders, representing an 86 per cent tip rate, whilst another tipped on 97 per cent of all orders. The company confirmed that 100 per cent of tips go to captains.
Careem launched Box XL, Careem for Business, and expanded home cleaning offerings in 2025.
