AGMC has opened a new Geely showroom on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi, claiming the title of the largest Geely retail facility in the Middle East. The site spans 1,510 sqm in total and can accommodate up to 24 vehicles across two distinct spaces.
The facility divides into an 840 sqm showroom for internal combustion engine models, capable of displaying up to 12 vehicles, and a separate 670 sqm space dedicated to Geely’s New Energy Vehicle range, also displaying up to 12 models. The NEV showroom carries its own brand identity and design language, setting it apart from the conventional side of the facility.
“The opening of this state-of-the-art new facility, the largest Geely showroom in the Middle East, is an important investment in our retail network and the continued growth of the brand in the UAE. As the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi is a key market for AGMC, and this facility gives us the space to support Geely’s expanding vehicle portfolio while establishing a dedicated presence for Geely NEV. As we introduce more new energy vehicles to the market, having the right retail infrastructure in place will be essential to ensuring an excellent experience for our customers and building the business for the long term,” Suliman Al Zaben, CEO of AGMC said in a statement.
The NEV showroom currently features the battery-electric Geely EX5, the Geely Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid, the Geely EX5 EM-i, and the full-size Geely M9, which is on display and available for pre-booking.
The Abu Dhabi opening expands AGMC’s existing Geely retail network in the UAE and is intended to support the brand’s push into the electrified vehicle segment as it broadens its NEV portfolio in the market.
