Amazon UAE’s Prime Day sale will run from 12:01 a.m. on June 24 through June 30, offering Prime members seven days of discounts spanning more than 30 product categories on amazon.ae.
The event covers a broad range of goods: up to 70 per cent off on Amazon Now categories including fresh produce, meat, dairy and frozen foods; up to 40 per cent off on electronics from Samsung, Lenovo, Sony, LG, PlayStation and Nintendo; up to 60 per cent off on beauty and skincare from Dior, Lancôme, Dyson and L’Oréal; and up to 50 per cent off on fashion from Boss, Lacoste, Ray-Ban, Marc Jacobs and Samsonite. Amazon’s own devices, including Ring, Echo and Kindle, are discounted by up to 70 per cent.
“Life in the UAE moves fast, and our customers expect us to match that pace – that’s why we’re focused on fast delivery across thousands of products, including delivery in minutes with Amazon Now. Prime Day is where that speed and selection meet unbeatable value, with incredible deals and even more ways to save, exclusively for our members. The value of Prime keeps growing, and this year is no exception. There’s never been a better time to be a Prime member in the UAE, and we hope shoppers make the most of it,” Stefano Martinelli, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey said in a statement.
Additional savings are available through a handful of financial mechanisms. Prime members can earn up to 6 per cent back on purchases made with the Amazon Credit Card, while new applicants who sign up between June 17 and 30 can receive an additional 25 per cent off (up to AED 150) plus a welcome bonus of up to AED 500.
ADCB Credit Card holders can claim up to 20 per cent off, and Mastercard Credit Card users up to 10 per cent off, on eligible orders. Buy-now, pay-later is available through Tabby and Tamara, splitting payments into four interest-free instalments.
Deals also extend internationally via the Amazon.ae Global Store, giving members access to discounts from Amazon US, UK, and Germany with free international delivery. Amazon Bazaar, the platform’s value finds section, carries items starting from AED 4, with Prime members receiving up to 30 per cent off orders above AED 200 using the code APD10 during the event.
Prime membership costs AED 16 per month or AED 140 per year, and includes fast and free delivery, Prime Video, Prime Gaming, free Deliveroo Plus Silver, free fuel delivery with Cafu, and 10 per cent off Amazon Home Services.
Research commissioned by Amazon and conducted by HarrisX across 25 countries found that 81 per cent of UAE shoppers say finding a good deal feels satisfying, while 44 per cent compare prices during major sales events and 33 per cent hold purchases until events like Prime Day.
