Zed, Dubai’s homegrown ride-hailing platform, has released data showing how residents and visitors moved across the city in 2025.

The data, compiled in Zed’s Year in Motion 2025 report, shows one user completed 572 trips during the year. The longest journey by time reached 224 minutes, whilst the longest journey by distance covered 265 kilometres. The shortest trip measured 450 metres.

Cash remained the most popular payment method, accounting for 47 per cent of rides on the platform. The app was used by people from 165 nationalities in 2025.
