Dubai ride-hailing platform Zed has launched a month-long initiative that transforms 54 of its cabs into artworks created by People of Determination from two centres in the city.
The ‘United in the Journey’ campaign runs from December 2, 2025 to January 2, 2026, featuring illustrations by artists from Rashid Centre for People of Determination and Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs.
The initiative begins with UAE National Day celebrations and continues through Christmas and New Year, a period when Dubai experiences high tourist numbers.
Dubai’s Zed donates portion of earnings from art-wrapped cabs to NGO initiatives
A portion of earnings from the 54 art-wrapped cabs during the campaign will be donated to NGO initiatives supporting People of Determination, children, and healthcare-related causes.
The cabs display hand-drawn works created through collaboration between artists from both partner organisations. The designs express themes of unity, movement, belonging, and hope.
Artwork incorporates Dubai landmarks, the UAE map, and symbols including hearts and children holding flags.
Zed says the campaign offers riders a way to contribute to causes while commuting during the festive period. The initiative supports the work of People of Determination and positions mobility as a platform for inclusion.
Thousands of riders are expected to use the art-wrapped cabs during the campaign period, whether travelling to gatherings, shopping locations, or celebrations.
The initiative runs alongside Dubai’s festive season, when residents and visitors move around the city for various celebrations and events.
Zed operates in Dubai and is available for download on iOS and Android platforms.
