Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre will host 14 major events through September, spanning energy, property, cybersecurity, fintech, travel, healthcare and technology.
The month opens with Middle East Energy (1–3 September), held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The region’s largest energy infrastructure exhibition is expected to draw more than 1,900 exhibitors, 250-plus speakers and an estimated 35,000 attendees from more than 150 countries, with five co-located conferences addressing grid modernisation, storage, digitalisation and the effect of AI and data centre growth on power demand.
The following week brings three events running concurrently. The International Property Show (7–9 September), in its 22nd edition, assembles developers, investors, banks and legal firms for live project launches and exclusive offers. AIM Congress (7–9 September), held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, returns for its 15th edition under the theme “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future,” following an edition that drew 15,000 delegates from more than 180 countries. Dubai Derma (8–10 September) marks its 25th year by merging its dermatology and aesthetic medicine programmes for the first time, with more than 25,000 visitors and 500-plus speakers expected.
Crypto Expo (9–10 September) follows, drawing an expected 7,000-plus attendees across cryptocurrency regulation, blockchain and digital finance. Arabian Travel Market returns to DWTC for four days from September 14 under the theme “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology.” GISEC Global, the Middle East and Africa’s largest cybersecurity gathering, moves to its 15th edition at Dubai Exhibition Centre from September 16–18, with more than 25,000 professionals from over 182 countries expected alongside 750-plus cybersecurity brands.
The second half of the month includes The Forex Expo (22–23 September); Seamless Middle East (22–24 September), now in its 26th year and expecting more than 20,000 attendees, 800 speakers and 750 exhibitors; and MEIDAM (24–26 September), a dermatology and aesthetic medicine congress bringing together more than 4,500 delegates from over 107 nationalities.
The month closes with three events running from September 28. Ru’ya – Careers UAE returns as the country’s main employment platform for Emirati nationals, with more than 120 companies hiring across 23 industries. The Middle East Coatings Show, now at Dubai Exhibition Centre, expects 350-plus exhibitors and more than 5,000 professionals from 24-plus countries. GOTECH (29 September – 1 October), held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, convenes oil, gas and energy leaders under the theme “Bold Ideas, Real Impact.”
The AWS Summit Dubai on September 30 closes the calendar with a single-day programme of keynotes, technical sessions and cloud and AI demonstrations from Amazon Web Services.
