Radisson Hotel Group signed and opened 160 hotels representing more than 22,000 keys during the first half of 2026, as the group pressed forward with expansion across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

In the Middle East, the period produced notable openings including Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Barsha Heights, and Radisson Collection Residences, Riyadh. Across Africa, the group crossed the milestone of 100 hotels in operation and under development on the continent.

Europe saw the signing of Radisson Collection Hotel, Frankfurt and Radisson RED Vienna Danube Riverside, alongside new openings in Austria, Germany, and Poland. The Radisson RED brand made its debut in New Zealand, the Philippines, and Türkiye, while Radisson Collection extended its presence to destinations including Lake Como.

A gastronomic restaurant at Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, received its first Michelin star ten months after reopening. The group’s Verified Net Zero programme is also set to add ten hotels across Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, and South Africa in the coming months.

India is emerging as one of the group’s most consequential bets. The group signed and opened 22 hotels there in the first half of the year, bringing its India development pipeline to nearly 100 hotels. It currently operates 142 hotels with more than 15,500 keys across 86 cities in the country. A newly announced India Vision 2030 plan aims to grow that to 500 hotels over the next five years.

“India is one of the most promising hotel development markets in the world today. Demand continues to outpace supply, infrastructure is improving rapidly, and owner confidence remains high. Combined with our legacy in the country, the awareness of our brands and our exceptional colleagues on the ground, these fundamentals create significant opportunities for long-term, meaningful growth,” Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group said in a statement.

China remains a substantial base, with more than 260 hotels in operation across Country Inn and Suites by Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, and Radisson RED. Activity spans major urban centres including Wuhan, Beijing, and Chongqing, as well as smaller-tier cities.

Radisson says it has been the most-signed hotel brand within its segment across EMEA and Southeast Asia Pacific since 2019.

“We create value for our guests and owners through our brands and people. We believe in the long-term nature of our business and are committed to deliver above market returns to all our stakeholders,” Younes added.
