The International Affairs Office at the UAE Presidential Court has introduced an AI-powered spokesperson named Zayed, designed to deliver institutional messaging, announce initiatives, and represent the office across digital channels.
The launch positions Zayed as a new kind of institutional communicator: one built to engage audiences across generations through what the office describes as a dynamic and accessible format, distinct from conventional government communications.
“The UAE’s journey in artificial intelligence is rooted in a clear vision set by our leadership, a vision that sees innovation not simply as technological advancement, but as a force that empowers societies and strengthens human connection,” Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Head of the International Affairs Office at the UAE Presidential Court said in a statement.
“Launching Zayed reflects our commitment to embracing transformative technologies in ways that enhance the International Affairs Office’s communication and create deeper, more meaningful engagement with audiences across generations,” he added.
The office framed the initiative within the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which sets out to position the country as a global hub for AI adoption across governance, education, research, and strategic sectors. Zayed is presented as a practical expression of that ambition at the institutional level.
The UAE has been accelerating investment in AI and digital infrastructure across government functions. An AI spokesperson at the Presidential Court level marks a step beyond AI tools used internally, bringing the technology into the public-facing communications layer of one of the country’s most senior government offices.
