Dubizzle’s AI-powered listing feature has generated more than 1.33 million classified advertisements in its first four months, the company said, as the UAE’s largest online marketplace reports growing consumer appetite for tools that cut the friction out of selling.
Over 250,000 active sellers have used Sell with AI since launch. The feature works by prompting users to upload photos, then generating a title, category suggestion and full item description within seconds. Sellers can then review and adjust before publishing, removing the need to write listings from scratch.
The numbers suggest the feature is doing more than saving time. Sellers who use it are listing items 15 per cent faster than those using the traditional manual method, and their listings receive 6.2 per cent more daily buyer enquiries, according to dubizzle.
“This milestone tells us something much bigger than the success of a single feature – it reflects changing consumer behaviour. People are increasingly looking for technology that simplifies everyday tasks and saves them time. The speed at which users have embraced Sell with AI shows that artificial intelligence has evolved from something people experiment with into something they rely on. At dubizzle, our focus is on applying AI where it creates genuine value, making the selling experience faster, simpler and more intuitive,” Muneeb Farrukh, VP of Product at dubizzle said in a statement.
Dubizzle Group said the feature sits within a broader programme of AI investment across its platforms, with the company continuing to build tools aimed at improving marketplace quality and helping users make faster decisions.
