UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a delegation from Ethara this week following the company’s recognition as F1 Promoter of the Year for 2025. The award relates to Ethara’s role organising the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the delegation and spoke about the contribution of UAE-based companies to the country’s standing as a destination for major international events.
He also acknowledged the role of Emirati talent working in the events sector, describing it as an important pillar of the UAE’s broader development.
The Ethara delegation in turn expressed gratitude for the President’s support of the industry and his backing of Emirati professionals within it.
Ethara specialises in event, entertainment, and venue management, and has been central to the growth of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and its surrounding programme of events.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and a number of Sheikhs and officials.
