Dubai-based ride-hailing platform Zed has launched a back-to-school promotion offering 30 per cent off rides to and from schools across the emirate, with discounts capped at AED 20 per ride.

The offer runs until September 30, 2026 and applies to both taxi and premium limousine categories on the Zed app.

Alongside the fare discount, users earn 15 per cent cashback on their first 15 rides each month through the Zed Wallet. The promotion code SCHOOL can be redeemed up to 40 times per user.

“Our responsibility as a homegrown mobility platform is to build around the realities of the city we call home. School runs are more than a daily journey; they are part of the rhythm of family life in Dubai and supporting families through seasons like this is a natural extension of that commitment,” Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Zed said in a statement.

“The future of urban mobility will be shaped by how well platforms respond to the everyday journeys people make most often. Through this initiative, we want to play a meaningful role in helping families start the new academic year with one less thing to worry about,” Abhinav Patwa, Executive Vice President of Al Ghurair Group and Head of Zed added.

The promotion is available now through the Zed mobile app.
