Qatar Airways will resume daily non-stop service between Doha and Philadelphia from August 1, 2026, the airline announced, restoring a route that extends its North American footprint to 14 cities.
The reinstated service will be operated on an Airbus A350-900, fitted with the airline’s Qsuite business class and Starlink satellite Wi-Fi. Qatar Airways says more than 140 of its aircraft now carry Starlink, which it describes as the world’s largest Starlink-equipped widebody fleet.
Outbound, flight QR727 departs Doha at 08:00 and arrives in Philadelphia at 15:05. The return, QR728, leaves Philadelphia at 21:30 and lands in Doha at 17:00 the following day.
The airline says Philadelphia travellers will have onward connections to destinations across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East through Hamad International Airport in Doha, and domestic connectivity in the US through oneworld partner American Airlines.
Philadelphia joins a North American schedule that already covers Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Washington D.C. Qatar Airways first entered the US market with a New York service in 2007.
Tickets can be booked at qatarairways.com or through the airline’s app.
