Bahrain’s Attorney General has ordered 14 defendants across four cases to stand trial before the Criminal Court on charges of collaborating with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to carry out hostile acts against the kingdom.

Charges include supporting hostile activities, financing such operations, receiving military training at IRGC camps, leaking classified defence information, spreading false information to incite public panic, and surveilling and photographing vital installations to assist future targeting.
Prosecutors said photos and data gathered by the defendants were sent to the IRGC and subsequently used to strike buildings and facilities inside Bahrain.
The Public Prosecution said some defendants offered detailed confessions during interrogations, and after reviewing witness testimony and technical evidence, concluded the charges were substantiated and ordered the defendants held in custody ahead of trial.
