Global Village opened Season 31 on Wednesday, October 14 at 6 PM, with 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, a new roller coaster, and an expanded food and entertainment lineup.

The season’s footprint spans over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 200 attractions. New additions include Tokyo Rush, a roller coaster with sharp turns and a full loop, launching later in the season.

The Syria and Kuwait pavilions return with refreshed facades, while the Sri Lanka and the Russia and Azerbaijan pavilions have been updated inside.

A redesigned Season 31 Passport and a new Kids Passport allow guests to collect stamps at dedicated stations in every pavilion. The Cultural Gate gets new LED lighting, and the Sharjah tunnel connecting to the destination has been given a new theme.

On the food front, Trabkon Turkish Restaurant joins the destination alongside three new concepts at Restaurant Plaza: Robo Al Sham (Levantine), Hawawshi Al Rabie (Egyptian), and Chicking (fried chicken). Three new cafes, Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet, and Uzungol Café, also debut this season.

Entertainment covers 40,000 shows across the season. New productions include Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back, a stunt show; Bollywood Idol, a family musical; and Bank Heist, a true-crime-inspired acrobatics show. The anchor show Slam returns, as do Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre.

Operationally, the destination is adding VIP Parking self-payment vending machines, expanded Family POD washrooms, wider ticketing capacity at Happiness Gate counters, and a WhatsApp chatbot for guest support.

Global Village runs Sunday to Wednesday from 4 PM to midnight, and Thursday to Saturday and public holidays from 4 PM to 1 AM. Tickets cost AED 25 on weekdays and AED 30 on weekends and public holidays, available through the Global Village app, website, and at the gates from opening night.
