Emirates has begun flying its A350-900 between Taipei and Dubai, putting the aircraft on a second daily frequency alongside the A380 that already serves the route. The move brings Premium Economy to Taiwan for the first time, completing Emirates’ four-cabin offering on departures from Taoyuan International Airport.
Flight EK386 departs Dubai at 08:45 and arrives in Taipei at 21:20, while the return EK387 leaves Taipei at 00:30 and lands in Dubai at 05:15 the following morning. The A350-900 on the route carries 298 seats across three cabins: 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy, and 238 in Economy.
The aircraft features Emirates’ latest cabin interiors, including 4K Ultra HD displays at every seat, Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones, and 60W charging outlets throughout. Business Class and Premium Economy passengers also get wireless charging and electronic window blinds. Onboard Wi-Fi is faster than on older aircraft in the fleet, and the cabin is noticeably quieter.
Premium Economy seats are arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration with 19.5 inches of width, a 40-inch pitch, and 8-inch recline. Passengers get a welcome drink, seasonal menus, an amenity kit, and a 13.3-inch personal screen. On the ground, the cabin comes with a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International Airport, priority boarding, and a baggage allowance of up to 35kg.
Business Class on the A350 offers a 1-2-1 layout with fully flat seats, direct aisle access, a 20-inch 4K Ultra HD screen, a personal mini-bar, wireless charging, and complimentary Bulgari amenity kits.

With connections through Dubai, Taipei passengers can now reach more than 150 destinations across Emirates’ global network, including 42 cities in Europe.
