Dubai International Airport has opened a dedicated lounge for Uber passengers at Terminal 3, giving travellers a place to wait, rest, and prepare before their onward ride.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, announced the opening on LinkedIn, describing it as a collaboration with Uber aimed at smoothing the transition between the terminal building and the kerb. “The airport experience starts from the moment you leave home until you arrive at your destination,” he wrote. “For many guests, the journey continues beyond the terminal, and those final moments are just as important as everything that comes before them.”
Griffiths framed the lounge as a deliberate piece of friction-removal rather than a headline amenity. “The best innovations aren’t always the biggest. Often, they’re the thoughtful improvements that remove friction, create greater comfort and make the overall travel experience feel more seamless,” he said.
