Dubai Airports is managing travel arrangements for more than 3,600 Hajj pilgrims this season, a figure representing nearly 59% of all UAE pilgrims, with the Official Dubai Government Delegation departing on 21 May.
Departure flights operate through 23 May on Emirates, Saudia, flydubai and flynas. The operation has been developed in coordination with Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), Dubai Customs, dnata, Dubai Duty Free, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Dubai Health Authority.
Preparations at the terminals include dedicated check-in counters, gates selected to minimise walking distances, complimentary gift packs, multilingual guest experience staff, prayer rooms and Ihram changing facilities. The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services has scaled up its on-ground presence to cover medical needs throughout the airport journey. Elderly travellers and those requiring additional support will have access to expanded wheelchair provision, on-site health checks and dedicated ground assistance.
Pilgrims are advised to arrive at least four hours before departure and to carry all required documentation, including Hajj permits and vaccination certificates.
Returns are expected between 30 May and 2 June, with dedicated arrival arrangements in place, including separate baggage belts for Zamzam water.
