City Centre Deira is marking its 30th anniversary with a month-long celebration throughout November, honouring three decades since the opening of Majid Al Futtaim’s first shopping mall.
The mall, which opened nearly 30 years ago, transformed Dubai’s retail landscape and became the city’s destination for families and shoppers across the region.
From November 1 to 30, shoppers who spend AED 300 anywhere in the mall will enter a daily draw to win 30,000 SHARE points, worth AED 3,000 each day, with 30 winners in total, or a JAECOO J8 SUV.

The celebration includes a series of activations across the mall. The Memories Hotline Roadshow, running until November 23, features a phone booth where visitors can record their memories of City Centre Deira for a chance to win souvenirs. Selected recordings will be shared on City Centre malls’ social platforms.
The roadshow will be at City Centre Deira from November 13 to 16 and at City Centre Al Zahia from November 20 to 23.
The World of Exscape, running until November 20, is a digital adventure featuring four mini-games and VR challenges. Participants can compete daily to win up to AED 5,000 and qualify for a treasure hunt in the mall.

From November 19 to 30, shoppers who spend AED 200 or more can access three zones with activities including a photo booth, a prize-filled blower and a luck capsule with rewards.
A show featuring 35 performers, including musicians, dancers and rappers, will take place on 29 November at 7:00 PM.
An AI Memory Platform will allow visitors to upload photos from City Centre and watch them come to life through AI animation. The platform, hosted on a website, will be promoted across social media channels.
The anniversary marks 30 years of Majid Al Futtaim’s vision of creating moments for communities. Over three decades, City Centre Deira has evolved through creativity, technology and a commitment to sustainability.
The celebration also honours the mall’s retail partners and agents who operate within the centre.
