Abu Dhabi is set to welcome 1927, a members-only house positioned as a cultural home rather than a traditional venue, at Cinemacity Starlight in Marina Mall.
The space brings together film, music, dining and social experiences within a design-led environment, offering what its founders describe as “a more considered and intimate approach to entertainment” in the city.
The house, named 1927, takes its place within one of Abu Dhabi‘s most established retail and leisure destinations, marking a departure from the conventional entertainment formats that have long defined the city’s social landscape.
What Is 1927 Abu Dhabi? Everything you need to know about the city’s new members’ house
The venue unfolds across a series of distinct yet interconnected spaces. A central Dining Area anchors the offering, while a Lounge provides a setting for conversation and late evenings. The Cabaret introduces a space for live performances, and The Guild functions as a social hub where members can gather and connect.
For those seeking a more discreet experience, The Vault offers a secluded setting that reinforces the sense of exclusivity the house has been built around. Each space is designed to flow into the next, encouraging guests to move between film, music, dining and conversation without interruption.
For a period that begins on April 30, 1927 will open to the public throughout May, ahead of its transition to a fully members-only destination.
The preview represents what the house describes as “a rare all-access” opportunity to step inside before membership applications formally open.
During this window, visitors will be able to explore the menu, experience a film at 1927, and take in an atmosphere that will subsequently be reserved for members.
The preview has been designed to give the public a full sense of the house – its spaces, its programming and its approach to hospitality – before access becomes restricted.
Following the May preview, 1927 will transition into a members-only house with access granted through application.
