Dubai Chambers has signed memorandums of understanding with four Chinese chambers of commerce, deepening its commercial ties with four of China’s major business cities.

The agreements, inked with the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, the China Chamber of International Commerce Shenzhen Branch, CCOIC Guangzhou and CCOIC Chongqing, were signed during the Dubai Business Forum – China, held by Dubai Chambers in Shenzhen.

“We are committed to strengthening ties between Dubai’s business community and priority markets by building effective partnerships that support direct engagement between companies and create opportunities to explore promising trade and investment prospects. At the same time, we are developing a supportive ecosystem that enables the local private sector to expand its international presence and benefit from the exchange of expertise and knowledge. This enhances the ability of companies to connect with new partners, build sustainable business relationships, and achieve strong performance that contributes to the growth of trade and investment between Dubai and global markets,” Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers said in a statement.

The MoUs establish a framework for trade and economic cooperation, with the Chongqing agreement carrying additional provisions around trade and investment promotion, information exchange on exhibitions and commercial events, and mutual support for participation in those activities.

The four agreements form part of Dubai Chambers’ broader push to expand the private sector’s access to international markets and build what it describes as high-value partnerships that support long-term growth.
