His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stopped by Zuma in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) for a meal on Wednesday, April 15.
The visit was confirmed through a post circulated on the restaurant’s social media channels.
Zuma Dubai shares clip of Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to DIFC branch
Clips posted to Zuma Dubai’s official Instagram account captured the moment Sheikh Mohammed was welcomed by staff before taking his seat with a group of guests inside the DIFC branch.
The outlet, located in Gate Village, has been serving diners in the financial district for over ten years.
The lunch appearance follows a string of recent outings by the Ruler of Dubai across the city. Just last week, Sheikh Mohammed was spotted at Dubai Mall for the launch of Primark‘s debut store in the country, with clips of the visit travelling quickly across social platforms.
Earlier in April, he also paid a call to Dubai Hills Mall, where he was filmed walking past shops and exchanging greetings with families.
