Dubai Fountain performances have been suspended until further notice, with no explanation or reopening date provided. A spokesperson confirmed the suspension to Gulf News but did not say how long it would last or what prompted it.
The closure follows the fountain’s return on October 1, 2025, after a five-month shutdown for renovation. That refurbishment covered tiling, water insulation and other upgrades, and drew large crowds when performances resumed.
Before the latest suspension, the fountain ran afternoon shows at 1 pm and 1.30 pm from Saturday to Thursday, with Friday matinees at 2 pm and 2.30 pm.
Evening performances ran every 30 minutes between 6 pm and 11 pm. It is not yet known whether the current closure is linked to further maintenance work.
