Aldar has released detailed masterplan information for Saadiyat Grove, a luxury retail, dining, and mixed-use destination on Saadiyat Island set to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The project sits within Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District, positioned between the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum, with the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi nearby.

Aldar describes the one-square-mile development as a destination where retail and cultural programming are designed to operate as a single experience.

The retail anchor will include flagship stores for Audemars Piguet, Brunello Cucinelli, BVLGARI, Cartier, Chaumet, Dior, FENDI, James Perse, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Valentino, and Van Cleef & Arpels.

“Saadiyat Grove is a centrepiece in our strategy to position Saadiyat Island, and Abu Dhabi more broadly, as a premier global destination for culture-led living, tourism, and investment. It is a place where culture and lifestyle intersect to create a truly differentiated value proposition for residents, visitors, and businesses alike. As the first destination of its kind in the region, Saadiyat Grove is more than a development; it is a strategic enabler of Abu Dhabi’s long-term vision, and a powerful symbol of its commitment to ambition, innovation, and cultural excellence,” Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Aldar said in a statement.

“Saadiyat Grove marks a new era for luxury retail in Abu Dhabi. It is a destination purpose-built to stand alongside the world’s great retail addresses, offering a genuinely distinctive experience rooted in Emirati hospitality and set within one of the most compelling cultural environments globally. We expect Saadiyat Grove to attract visitors from across the world and, in doing so, it will help establish luxury retail as a significant new pillar of Abu Dhabi’s economy,” Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Aldar added.

On the food and beverage side, Saadiyat Grove will introduce several new-to-Abu Dhabi concepts. Alain Ducasse Café will offer chocolate, coffee, ice cream, and pastries. Monsieur Paul, the Bocuse French brasserie, will bring a restaurant, café, and boutique.

Kokoro Handroll Bar and Momofuku, the restaurant group founded by Chef David Chang in New York City, round out the dining announcements.

The destination will also be home to Abu Dhabi’s first Time Out Market, featuring 16 kitchens, a dedicated beverage programme, and interactive entertainment. Dining at the adjacent Louvre Residences Abu Dhabi will include Barrafina, Gymkhana, and Magma, among others.

BEAMS, the Japanese culture and lifestyle retailer founded in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1976, will open its first UAE location at the destination.

Beyond retail, Saadiyat Grove will include a 7,000 sqm event and cultural space called Saadiyat Forum, a 2,200 sqm executive club with private offices and member lounges, and 25,000 sqm of Grade A commercial office space across four buildings. A 2,000 sqm gym operated by BXR London, the luxury fitness brand backed by boxer Anthony Joshua, will mark the brand’s first Middle East flagship. A wellness centre and longevity clinic are also planned.

The residential component includes Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences, Baccarat Residences Saadiyat, and The Arthouse, with more than 1,000 homes expected to be handed over in the coming months.
