Meta has introduced Meta One, a tiered subscription service giving UAE users access to additional features across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta AI. The core apps remain free. The paid plans are aimed at users who want more AI tools, personalisation options, or professional capabilities.
The entry-level option is WhatsApp Plus at Dh5.99 a month, which adds exclusive themes, special-effect stickers and more pinned chats. Meta is also testing focus schedules that can mute or hide chats at set times, and extra storage for backups. Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus are priced at Dh7.99 each.
Bundled plans sit above those. The Core tier at Dh22.99 a month and the Premium tier at Dh76.99 combine the individual app subscriptions with greater access to Meta AI, including higher volumes of image and video generation and additional use of tools such as Instagram’s Restyle and voice effects. Meta says Meta AI itself stays free for everyday use, with the paid tiers serving heavier users who want more creative output.
For creators and businesses, the Essential plan starts at Dh46.99 and includes enhanced profiles, a prominent follow button on Reels, automated follow invitations and broader access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp. Higher tiers add scheduling, analytics, audience insights and team access. The top-tier Max plan starts at Dh1,199 a month.
Meta said more than 50 features are being launched across its apps as part of the rollout, with further additions planned for products including its Edits tool and AI glasses. The company said its subscription plans have generated 15 million subscriptions and trials globally to date. Pricing and features vary by region, app and account type.
