Arabian Adventures, the Emirates Group’s destination management arm, has launched a range of summer discounts across its desert experience portfolio, with reductions of up to 50 per cent on selected activities through the end of August.
The offer centres on the Margham Desert, which the company says can feel up to 7°C cooler than central Dubai during early mornings and evenings. That temperature differential is the crux of the pitch: the desert as a practical summer option rather than simply a cooler-months attraction.
When people think about summer in Dubai, the desert isn’t always the first place that comes to mind. Yet, it offers a completely different perspective of the destination, especially during the cooler morning and evening hours. Whether you’re a resident looking for a weekend activity, welcoming friends and family from overseas, or visiting Dubai for the first time, these experiences offer a unique way to explore one of the UAE’s most iconic landscapes. We’re seeing growing interest from travellers looking to discover a different side of Dubai, particularly those seeking memorable outdoor experiences beyond the city’s traditional hotspots,” Sébastien Garcia, Vice President – Destination Management (UAE & Gulf Region) at dnata Travel Group said in a statement.
The discounted lineup covers five experiences. The Morning Desert Adventure, running seven days a week, drops from AED 479 to AED 240 per person and includes dune driving, camel riding, optional sandboarding, and a desert breakfast. The Evening Desert Safari, available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, falls from AED 649 to AED 324 per person, with dune driving, traditional activities, live entertainment and refreshments included.
For those wanting something more active, the Dune Buggy Adventure is available every evening at AED 400 per person for passengers or AED 422 for drivers, down from AED 799. The Camel Ride Experience starts from AED 374 per person, reduced from AED 499. At the premium end, the Exclusive Desert Experience, which includes dune driving, wildlife spotting, a sunset and a three-course Arabic dinner in a private camp, is priced from AED 1,498 per person, half the standard rate of AED 2,996.
Arabian Adventures is also offering private city tours across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, discounts of up to 40 per cent on attractions through its Adventure Pass, and flat-rate airport transfers from DXB starting at AED 125.
Bookings are open now, subject to availability, through August 31, 2026.
