Khalaf Al Habtoor, founder and chairman of Habtoor Group, has announced a new project in Syria without disclosing specifics, saying details would be made public shortly.
Writing on X, Al Habtoor said he was preparing to return briefly to the UAE to follow up on several projects under development, one of which is based in Syria. “We will reveal its details soon, God willing,” he wrote.
He framed the venture as a statement of confidence in Syria’s economic recovery. “We hope it will add value to the Syrian market, and that it will be a new step reflecting our confidence in Syria’s future and our belief in its people’s capacity to build and reclaim their economic standing,” he said.
No sector, scale, or timeline was given for the project.
