Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met UAE property developer Mohamed Alabbar in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, with Syria’s Minister of Public Works and Housing Mustafa Abdul Razzaq also in attendance.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen investment and economic cooperation, and explored how the private sector could play a role in supporting Syria’s reconstruction and recovery efforts, with the aim of attracting capital in the period ahead.
