The Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) has ordered the withdrawal of two insecticide products sold under the “Goodbye All Insects” brand, made by SCITRA, citing regulatory and technical violations linked to both items being unregistered with the authority.
The two products covered by the recall are “Goodbye All Insects Max Kills in One Spray” and “Goodbye All Insects Spray.” The EDE said the concentration of active ingredients in the first product did not meet approved quality standards or relevant international benchmarks. The second product was found to contain a banned substance, which the authority said required its immediate removal from circulation.
The EDE said it is coordinating with the country’s relevant regulatory bodies to complete the withdrawal of both products from all sales channels, including online retailers, in line with approved regulatory frameworks.
The recall was framed by the authority as a measure to protect consumer health and ensure only compliant products remain in the market.
