Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recorded 8.2 million journeys across its public transport and mobility network during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, which ran from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29.
The Metro’s Red and Green Lines were the busiest single mode, carrying 3.3 million riders over the five days. Public buses accounted for 1.73 million trips, while taxi services, covering Dubai Taxi and franchise company vehicles, moved 2.3 million passengers. Marine transport registered 304,300 riders and Dubai Tram served 114,300.
Shared mobility services, including smart app vehicles, hourly rentals, and Bus-On-Demand, recorded a combined 402,700 riders over the period.
