Emirati business tycoon Mohamed Alabbar has said Syria has shown that technology can emerge from hardship, citing the presence of noon in the country and the work of its employees.

“Syria has proven, through the presence of noon and through your presence that the best technology in the world can still emerge from hardships. And you are the proof,” he said in an Instagram video.
