Indian consular, passport, visa and attestation services in the UAE will be handled by Al Hind Tours & Travels from July 22, 2026, according to a notice issued by the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi.
The services will be provided through 16 Indian Consular Application Centres, or ICACs, across the UAE.
The notice said the centres would serve applicants in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Services to stop at embassy and consulate premises
Applications will no longer be accepted at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General of India in Dubai. “The services will no longer be available at Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi or Consulate General of India, Dubai premises,” the notice said.
Applicants will instead need to use one of the 16 ICAC locations, except for categories permitted to attend without an appointment. Applicants can book appointments through consularsevainuae.com.
“The appointments will be released at 9 AM and 9 PM daily,” the embassy said. Applicants have been told to enter the required information when booking and select the category that applies to their application. Entry to an ICAC will be allowed only during the 15 minutes before the appointment time.
ICAC opening hours set from 8am to 6pm
All 16 Indian Consular Application Centres will operate from 8am to 6pm each day.
Services at the centres begin on July 22, 2026. Applicants will pay the Government of India fee for the service they request, along with an AED 19 service charge levied by Al Hind Tours & Travels LLC, the outsourced service provider.
The AED 19 service charge includes VAT. It also covers form filling, photographs, document typing, domestic courier services, printouts and photocopies connected with passport, visa and attestation applications.
Government of India fees changed on July 1, 2026. A breakdown of Government of India charges and the service charge is available at consularsevainuae.com.
Walk-ins allowed for Tatkal, newborn, EC and senior citizen cases
Walk-in applications will be accepted at all ICACs for:
- Tatkal passports
- Newborn cases
- Emergency Certificates, or ECs
- Senior citizens aged 60 and above
These applications will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
