The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a revised pricing structure for taxis in Dubai, which was announced on Wednesday.
The authority has established a booking fee of AED7.50 for travel during peak hours, which spans from 8AM to 9.59AM and from 4PM to 7.59PM.
The flagfall fare during these periods has been fixed at AED5 in an X post.

For journeys outside rush hour periods, passengers will pay a booking fee of AED4, whilst the flagfall fare remains at AED5.
Travel during night hours will incur a booking fee of AED4.5. The flagfall charges for night journeys have been set at AED5.5.
The authority has determined that the minimum fare for taxi e-hailing services will be AED13.
Recently, the RTA also signed partnerships with KHDA, Parkin PJSC, and PayPal to broaden the nol card’s utility beyond transport. These collaborations, signed at GITEX Global, will aim to integrate services, boost digital payments, and customer experience.
